IPPAI’S INTERNET PRIVACY POLICY

Yihbei Enterprise Pte Ltd (“IPPAI”) is pleased to provide information to all of its customers about its privacy policy (the “Policy”). IPPAI acknowledges and respects the privacy of individuals.

This Policy covers the Personal Information that IPPAI holds and sets out the way in which we will collect, use and disclose your Personal Information. “Personal Information” shall mean any information about an individual who can be identified from that information and/or other information to which IPPAI has or is likely to have access, including data in our records as may be updated from time to time.

Examples of such Personal Information you may provide to us (depending on the nature of your interaction with us) include without limitation your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card details and any other personal information.

When using the IPPAI’s Sites or our services, or by purchasing our products, you accept, consent and agree to the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Policy by IPPAI, as well as its representatives and/or agents. On giving reasonable notice to IPPAI, you may at any time withdraw any consent that you have given or deemed to have been given with respect to the collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Information as stated in this Policy. IPPAI will inform you of the likely consequences of withdrawal of your consent upon receipt of your notice to withdraw consent. After a reasonable period for the withdrawal process to take place, your Personal Information will no longer be collected, used or disclosed by IPPAI to the extent of your withdrawn consent.

This Policy supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents you may have previously provided to IPPAI in respect of your Personal Information, and your consents herein are additional to any rights which IPPAI may have at law to collect, use or disclose your Personal Information.

Please note that IPPAI may revise this Policy from time to time whenever necessary at its sole discretion, and your continued use of the IPPAI’s Sites or our services, or patronage at our stores will be subject to the Policy in force at the time of your use. We encourage you to check this Policy regularly to stay informed of any updates or changes made to them. This Policy is effective as from [16 November 2022].

 

HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION?

IPPAI may collect Personal Information from you, which will generally occur when:

      -    you visit the IPPAI’s Sites;

      -    you enter into any agreement or provide other documentation or information in respect of your interactions with us, or when you use the IPPAI’s Sites or our services;

      -    you interact with our staff, including customer service officers, for example, via telephone calls (which may be recorded), letters, fax, face-to-face meetings, social media platforms and emails; 

      -    you enter into or respond to our competitions, promotions, initiatives or to any request for additional Personal Information; 

      -    you enter into or respond to our competitions, promotions, initiatives or to any request for additional Personal Information;

      -    you participate in a survey or questionnaire;

      -    you request that we contact you or subscribe to our mailing list;

      -    you register as an e-newsletter member;

      -    you apply for a job;

      -    you submit website feedback;

      -    you place a order via store, telephone or our internet system;

      -    your images are captured by us via CCTV cameras while you are within our premises, or via photographs or videos taken by us or our representatives when you attend our events;

      -    we seek information about you and receive your Personal Information in connection with your relationship with us, including for our products and services or job applications, for example, from business partners, public agencies, your ex-employer, referral intermediaries and the relevant authorities; and/or

      -    you submit your Personal Information to us for any other reasons.

If you provide us with any Personal Information relating to a third party (e.g. information of your colleagues and/or friends), by submitting such information to us, you represent to us that you have obtained the consent of the third party to provide us with their Personal Information for the respective purposes.

You should ensure that all Personal Information submitted to us is complete, accurate, true and correct. Failure on your part to do so may result in our inability to provide you with the products and services you have requested, or delays in providing you with products and services you have requested, or processing your applications.

The purposes of IPPAI collecting, using and disclosing your Personal Information are set out in the section entitled “How Do We Use Information?” below.

 

SENSITIVE INFORMATION

IPPAI will not collect, use or disclose sensitive information (such as information about racial or ethnic origins or political or religious beliefs) except with your specific consent or in the circumstances permitted under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (No. 26 of 2012) ("PDPA") or any other related laws in Singapore.

 

COOKIES, WEB BEACONS AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

"Cookies" are pieces of information that a website transfers to an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies allow the website to remember important information that will make your use of the site more convenient. Like most websites, IPPAI uses cookies for a variety of purposes in order to improve your online experience. For example, we track the total number of visitors to the IPPAI’s Sites on an anonymous aggregate basis. We may also employ cookies so that we remember you when you return to the IPPAI’s Sites, to keep track of your purchase history if you purchase merchandise online, to administer certain contests and lucky draws or sweepstakes and to help customize your IPPAI’s web experience. We may associate Personal Information with a cookie file in those instances.

Web beacons - Small graphic images (also known as "pixel tags" or "clear GIFs") may be included on our sites and services. Web beacons typically work in conjunction with cookies to profile each unique user and user behaviour.

CLICKSTREAM DATA

Each time you visit the IPPAI's Sites, our server collects some anonymous information, known as click-stream data which includes the type of browser and system you are using, the address of the site you have come from and move to after your visit, the date and time of your visit, and your server's IP address.

IPPAI may collect this information for statistical purposes to find out how the IPPAI’s Sites are used and navigated, including the number of hits, the frequency and duration of visits, most popular session times. IPPAI may use this information to evaluate and improve the IPPAI’s Sites.

 

HOW DO WE USE INFORMATION?

Generally, IPPAI may combine information that we collect from you from different means as described above into one customer base and collect, use and disclose your Personal Information in the ways in which you may reasonably expect, including but not limited, for any of the following purposes:

      -    to process any job application you may submit;

      -    to verify your identity;

      -    to process any online ordering;

      -    to determine the number of visitors to the IPPAI’s Sites and conduct reviews of our sites;

      -    to respond to, process and handle your queries, feedback, complaints and requests;

      -    to fulfil prizes, awards and purchases;

      -    to keep you informed about any changes to the IPPAI’s Sites;

      -    to request feedback or participation in surveys, to conduct marketing research and/or analysis for statistical, profiling or other purposes for us to design our services, understand customer behaviour, preferences and market trends, and to review, develop and improve the quality of our products and services;

      -    with your permission and specific consent or in such manner as allowed under applicable law, to send you offers, promotions, marketing information, discounts, information about new product offerings or information on products or services that we consider will be of interest to you by phone, SMS, mail, and/or email;

      -    to comply with any applicable law, regulation, court orders, subpoena, arbitration order or award or legal request;

      -    to protect the integrity of the IPPAI’s Sites;

      -    to fulfil your requests or to complete a transaction for you;

      -    to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation or an investigation on a matter of public safety;

      -    to protect IPPAI’s or its affiliates’ or related companies’ rights, property or safety or the rights, property or safety of IPPAI’s users;

      -    to manage and plan the administrative and business operations of requesting feedback or participation in surveys and complying with internal policies and procedures;

      -    to facilitate business asset transactions (which may extend to any mergers, acquisitions or asset sales);

      -    to prevent, detect and investigate crime and to analyse and manage commercial risks;

      -    to manage the safety and security of our premises and services (including but not limited to carrying out CCTV surveillance and conducting security clearances);

      -    to monitor or record phone calls and customer-facing interactions for quality assurance, employee training and performance evaluation and identity verification purposes; and/or

      -    purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid.

When using IPPAI’s online ordering system, additional Personal Information may be collected from you for the purpose of assisting us in the delivery of our product to your door and to verify and/or effect your credit card payment.

In addition, IPPAI collects, uses and discloses your Personal Information for the following purposes depending on the nature of our relationship:

       1. If you are a prospective, current or former customer of IPPAI:

       -    providing customer service and support (including but not limited to customer relationship management and processing and settlement of invoices and bills);

       -    administering and processing your requests including creating and maintaining profiles of our customers in our system database for administrative purposes (including but not limited to tracking your use of the IPPAI’s Sites);

       -    personalising your experience on the IPPAI’s Sites and conducting market research, understanding and analysing customer behaviour, location, preferences and demographics in order to improve our service offerings;

       -    if you use the IPPAI’s Sites, sending you notifications and facilitating the provision of our services to you;

       -    administering debt recovery and debt management; and/or

       -    purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid.

 

       2. If you are an employee, officer or owner of an external service provider or vendor outsourced or prospected by IPPAI:

       -    assessing your organisation's suitability as an external service provider or vendor for IPPAI;

       -    managing project tenders and quotations, processing orders or managing the supply of goods and services;

       -    creating and maintaining profiles of our service providers and vendors in our system database;

       -    processing and payment of vendor invoices and bills;

       -    facilities management (including but not limited to issuing visitor access passes and facilitating security clearance); and/or

       -    purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid.

 

       3. If you submit an application to us as a candidate for employment or internships:

       -    conducting interviews;

       -    processing your application (including but not limited to pre-recruitment checks involving your qualifications and facilitating interviews);

       -    obtaining references and for background screening;

       -    assessing your suitability for the position applied for;

       -    enrolling successful candidates as our employees and facilitating human resource planning and management (including but not limited to preparing letters of employment, name cards and building access passes); and/or

       -    purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid.

 

       4. If you are an existing employee of IPPAI:

       -    providing remuneration, reviewing salaries and bonuses, conducting salary benchmarking reviews, staff appraisals and evaluation, as well as recognising individuals for their services and conferring awards;

       -    staff orientation and entry processing;

       -    administrative and support processes relating to your employment, including its management and termination, as well as staff benefits, including travel, manpower, business continuity and logistics management or support, processing expense claims, medical insurance applications, medical screenings and immunisations, leave administration, long-term incentive plans, training, learning and talent development, and planning and organising corporate events;

       -    providing you with tools and/or facilities to enable or facilitate the performance of your duties;

       -    facilitating professional accreditation and complying with compliance audits;

       -    compiling and publishing internal directories and emergency contact lists for business continuity;

       -    managing corporate social responsibility projects;

       -    conducting analytics and research for human resource planning and management, and for us to review, develop, optimise and improve work-related practices, environment and productivity;

       -    ensuring that the administrative and business operations of IPPAI function in a secure, efficient and effective manner (including but not limited to examining or monitoring any computer software and/or hardware installed within IPPAI, your work emails and personal digital and storage devices);

       -    compliance with any applicable rules, laws and regulations, codes of practice or guidelines or to assist in law enforcement and investigations by relevant authorities (including but not limited to disclosures to regulatory bodies, conducting audit checks or surveillance and investigation);

       -    administering cessation processes; and/or

       -    any other purposes relating to any of the above.

Furthermore, where permitted under the PDPA, IPPAI may also collect, use and disclose your Personal Information for the following "Additional Purposes":

       -    taking or filming photographs and videos for corporate publicity or marketing purposes, and featuring your photographs and/or testimonials in our articles and publicity materials;

       -    providing or marketing services and benefits to you, including promotions, service upgrades, loyalty, reward and/or membership programmes (including event invitations, newsletters and marketing and promotional information to you pursuant to such membership programmes);

       -    organising roadshows, tours, campaigns and promotional or events and administering contests and competitions;

       -    matching Personal Information with other data collected for other purposes and from other sources (including third parties) in connection with the provision or offering of services;

       -    sending you details of services, services updates and rewards, either to our customers generally, or which we have identified may be of interest to you;

       -    conducting market research, aggregating and analysing customer profiles and data to determine health-related patterns and trends, understanding and analysing customer behaviour, location, preferences and demographics for us to offer you other products and services as well as special offers and marketing programmes which may be relevant to your preferences and profile; and/or

       -    purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid.

If you have provided us with your Singapore telephone number(s) and have indicated that you consent to receiving marketing or promotional information via your Singapore telephone number(s), then from time to time, IPPAI may contact you using such Singapore telephone number(s) (including via voice calls, text, fax or other means) with information about our products and services.

In relation to particular services or in your interactions with us, we may also have specifically notified you of other purposes for which we collect, use or disclose your Personal Information. If so, we will collect, use and disclose your Personal Information for these additional purposes as well, unless we have specifically notified you otherwise.

You may withdraw your consent for receiving marketing or promotional materials/communication by contact us using the contact details below.

Once we receive confirmation that you wish to withdraw your consent for marketing or promotional materials/communication, it may take up to [30 calendar days] for your withdrawal to be reflected in our systems. Therefore, you may still receive marketing or promotional materials/communication during this period of time.

Please note that even if you withdraw your consent for the receipt of marketing or promotional materials, we may still contact you for other purposes in relation to the services that you have requested or purchased from IPPAI.

 

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION & THIRD PARTY DISCLOSURE

Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, IPPAI may share statistics and disclose your Personal Information for the purposes listed above (where applicable) with the following entities or parties, whether they are located overseas or in Singapore:

      -    companies that are related to IPPAI;

      -    Our agents, vendors, service providers, or other unrelated companies may be engaged by IPPAI to perform a variety of functions, including without limitation, processing and fulfilling orders, assisting with promotions, providing technical services for the IPPAI’s Sites, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, providing customer service;

      -    any business partner, investor, assignee or transferee (actual or prospective) to facilitate business asset transactions (which may extend to any merger, acquisition or asset sale);

      -    external banks, credit card companies, other financial institutions and their respective service providers;

      -    our professional advisers such as consultants, auditors and lawyers;

      -    relevant government ministries, regulators, statutory boards or authorities or law enforcement agencies to comply with any laws, rules, guidelines and regulations or schemes imposed by any governmental authority; and/or

      -    any other party to whom you authorise us to disclose your Personal Information to.

IPPAI reserves the right to use or disclose any information as necessary or reasonably required (i) to comply with any applicable law, regulation, court orders, subpoena, arbitration order or award or legal request, (ii) to protect the integrity of the IPPAI’s Sites, (iii) to fulfil your requests or to complete a transaction for you, (iv) to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation or an investigation on a matter of public safety, or (v) to protect IPPAI’s or its affiliates’ or related companies’ rights, property or safety or the rights, property or safety of IPPAI’s users.

 

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

IPPAI will cease to retain your Personal Information or remove the means by which the Personal Information can be associated with you as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the Personal Information is no longer necessary for any business or legal purposes.

 

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

IPPAI’s Sites may contain hyperlinks to other external websites that are not maintained by IPPAI as a courtesy to our users. IPPAI does not endorse nor is IPPAI responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites and shall not be liable for any damages, loss, or unauthorised collection, use and/or disclosure of your Personal Information from access to those websites. We encourage you to learn about the data protection practices of such external websites. Some of these websites may be co-branded with our logo or trade mark, even though they are not operated or maintained by us. Once you have left the IPPAI's Sites, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party website to determine how they will handle any information they collect from you. Use of the hyperlinks and access to such websites are entirely at your own risk.

 

ACCESS, ACCURACY AND SECURITY

IPPAI will take reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information collected is reasonably accurate, complete and up-to-date. We will take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, collection, use, modification or disclosure.

You are in control of any Personal Information you provide to us online. If at any time, you would like to correct the Personal Information we have about you or if you would like to change your preferences for contacts from us or on behalf of our business partners, you can let us know by contacting us at the email or postal address listed below.

If you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Information, depending on the nature of your request, IPPAI may not be in a position to continue to provide its products and services to you, or administer any contractual relationship in place, which in turn may also result in the termination of any agreements with IPPAI, and your being in breach of your contractual obligations or undertakings. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.
